The July 24th, 2010 No Mercy Metal showcase (www.nomercymetal.com) will have 9 bands, including bands from Montreal and albany.
Other bands for the July 24th, 2010 show at Santos Party House in NYC include:

The No Mercy Metal Partners:
-WSOU will be promoting the show via on-air announcements and ticket giveaways. They will also be featuring No Mercy bands on air after each event.
-Krank Amps will award an endorsement to one band at each showcase. That band will receive artist pricing for all Krank products.
-Metal Injection will be choosing one band from each showcase series to feature on their website.
-Metal Sucks will be awarding a feature to one band from each showcase.
-Musicsubmit will be awarding a marketing package to the band of its choice at each show.
-Reverbnation will feature one band from each showcase on the Reverbnation homepage following each show.
-Skulls n Bones will also be promoting the showcases as well as awarding a feature on one of the bands.
-Parent company for the No Mercy Metal Showcase series, Tech-9 Music will be choosing the best and highest drawing bands from the showcases to open for bigger shows and nationals when the opportunity arises at venues like Gramercy Theater and the Highline Ballroom.

NO MERCY METAL SHOWCASE SERIES

What makes No Mercy Metal shows special?? Every No Mercy Metal Show in 2010 will include awards from our partners and sponsors. We work with some of the best companies in the metal music industry and community that feel the same as we do about working with and rewarding hard working, talented, up-and-coming new metal bands. The No Mercy Metal Showcase series is aimed at getting exposure and endorsements for the bands that play with us. Each of our partners will choose an industry judge to pick at least one band to award the following:

-89.5 FM WSOU will be promoting the show via on-air announcements and ticket giveaways. They will also be featuring No Mercy bands on air after each event.

Tech-9 Music works in conjunction with companies like Live Nation, AEG Live, and Six Flags, Great Adventure as well as various regional independent venues and promoters to put on shows all over the east coast. From 2007-2009 Tech-9 Music has booked and promoted over 300 shows in NY, Long Island, NJ, CT, MA, PA, MD, DE, VA and Washington D.C. In New York City last year alone, Tech-9 Music promoted over 40 shows worked with over 120 bands and put them on in front of over 10,000 people.

Gotham Rocks is New York City’s premier modern rock showcase series. In 2009 alone, Gotham Rocks put on over 40 live shows with over 100 bands, in front of more than 10,000 fans in and around NYC. We put some of the best new local, regional and national bands into packed houses in front of fans and industry alike. We give people who live and breathe rock music a chance to hang out, connect and build together– all while catching some of the best bands and blazing performances to be seen in NYC.

Our bands have played thousands of shows all over the northeast and mid-atlantic and everywhere we go, people complain about their local rock scenes the same way. ”Its dead”, “There are no good bands” or “This isnt the place for our type of music”. Well come to a showcase and you will see that the real rock scene is not only alive but thriving here in NYC, and that there is no better place to see it and be a part of it than Gotham Rocks.

Gotham Rocks partners with companies that feel the same way we do about supporting new and independent bands and music. Companies that work with us to award prizes, endorsement deals, marketing help and national exposure that our bands both deserve and want. The No Mercy metal showcase series– May 27, 2010– Get ready for the region’s BEST metal bands together on one stage. NO MERCY is a new metal showcase series that features great local, regional and national metal bands at great live venues in and around NYC. The premier showcase will be Thursday, May 27th 2010 at NYC’s Crash Mansion with several more to follow, culminating in an end-of-year showcase for Live Nation at The Gramercy Theater.
